US 12 - Phase 5: Attalia Vicinity to US 730 (Walla Walla River)

Project Description
This project is phase five of eight phases that improve US 12 from SR 124 (Burbank) to Walla Walla. This section of US 12 needs two new lanes parallel to the existing lanes. By constructing these two new lanes, this section will become a four lane divided highway, with improved capacity and enhanced safety.

Project has not been advertised or awarded.

Recent Progress
The prefered alternative selected for Phases 7 and 8 could impact the design for Phase 5.  Therefore, design work for the project is on hold until the environmental process is complete.
