The open houses in Burbank and Walla Walla were hugely successful thanks to a high number of attendees (176 in Burbank and 168 in Walla Walla) and the outstanding cooperative efforts of WSDOT staff, US Highway 12 Coalition members, and the Washington State Patrol. Ninety percent of the exit interviews conducted in Burbank showed the overall impression of this event fell within the 'excellent' to 'very good' range.
Displays
The event displays were an essential component in the public's overall satisfaction. Nearly 97 percent of those interviewed in Burbank rated the visual displays in the 'excellent' to 'very good' range.
Exit Interview Results
As part of WSDOTs ongoing goal to improve public outreach efforts, exit interviews were conducted at both open houses. The results are now available online.
