Crews built an interchange at the junction of US 12 and SR 124 at Burbank, and constructed a bridge for Humorist Road to cross over US 12.
The new interchange improves traffic flow between US 12 and SR 124 and allows 60 mph travel speeds on US 12.
This project eliminated two traffic signals along the highway and separated cross traffic.
The new interchange provides free-flowing movement between the two state highways.
| Economic Incentive
The interchange allows traffic to flow freely reducing travel times. These benefits are appealing to business developers looking for locations with good highway access.
