Recent Progress
Preliminary concepts were developed to reduce the severity and rate of accidents, and to improve traffic movements, by enhancing the roadway and the channelization for this intersection. Recent changes in traffic patterns, accident rates and land use have forced us to reevaluate the improvements to the corridor. New traffic counts were conducted in the summer of 2006, and the analysis has been used to rescope this project.
