Recent Progress
Drilled shaft construction for the bridge foundations are complete.  The concrete deck was poured on 8/15/08.  Earthwork for the approaches is underway.

Design Construction Impacts
To date the project has been constructed as designed with only minor changes.  Over-excavation of portions of the roadway ramp alignment was required due to unsuitable existing soils.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
The project is being constructed in accordance with the project permits.  The project Best Management Practices are being maintained and are in good working order.

Impacts to Traffic
Daytime project traffic control has been functioning without delays to motorists.  There will be some flagger controlled night time lane closures during the construction of the project.  Northbound US 101 bicycle traffic has been re-routed to an SR 3 detour for the duration of the project.
