US 101/SR 3 On Ramp to US 101 Northbound - New Ramp.

Project Description
This project will construct a new northbound on-ramp from SR 3 to US 101 which will provide an efficient and safe roadway for motorist. The existing at grade intersection currently requires northbound US 101 traffic to make a left turn against southbound US 101 vehicles.

Currently under WSDOT design.

Recent Progress
Project Management Plan received endorsement on February 13, 2007. Project Concept Approval was received on February 12, 2007. Project Definition was complete in April 2007. Hydraulics design is near completion.

Design Construction Impacts
Impacts will be evaluated upon further project definition.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Environmental impacts will be identified and evaluated during the preliminary engineering phase. Permits will be obtained and be in accordance with State and Federal regulations.

Impacts to Traffic
Construction of the new ramp will have minimal impacts to traffic.
