Pile driving is complete for two piers at the south end of the northbound SR 99 bridge and is underway at two piers just to the north. Work has started on the footing of the southernmost pier.
A section of the bicycle and pedestrian path in front of the U.S. Coast Guard, between South Massachusetts and South Atlantic streets, is closed through early spring. During the closure we’ll rebuild the sidewalk, repave southbound East Marginal Way South and add a southbound bike lane in the roadway. Bicycle and pedestrian traffic is detoured to a 10-foot-wide temporary shared use path on the opposite side of the street. Learn more.
