Recent Progress
Landslide concerns have been identified.  Additional borings and geotechnical analysis are complete.  Two walls will require redesign.  Right of way plans are being revised as a result of the wall redesigns.

The environmental/stormwater issues have been resolved.  Conditions can be met by modifying the pond design within existing WSDOT right of way and reducing the amount of impervious surface run off going to the pond by changing the sidewalk from standard concrete to porous concrete.

The design office has responded to hydraulic report and design file review comments.

The agreement with State Parks for the project environmental mitigation site is being finalized.

The 90% plan review was held and plans are being prepared for final turn in.

An independent construction estimate review was performed.

The purchasing of property for this project is continuing.

Project costs are being revised to incorporate the resolution of recent issues.

Design Construction Impacts
WSDOT is coordinating with the city of Issaquah concerning utility relocations and with Cascade Water Alliance for the installation of a 42 inch water main.

Stormwater treatment will meet current water quality requirements.

Environmental impact mitigation work will be done in Lake Sammamish State Park.  Stream mitigation will be done on Right of Way being purchased adjacent to SR900.
