SR 9 - SR 528 Intersection - Complete October 2004

Overview
Improved the intersection of State Route 9 and State Route 528 by adding a traffic signal, wider shoulders and a new left-turn lane which helps decrease rear-end collisions and improve safety for all motorists using the roadway.

How You Benefit
Cross GlyphImproves Safety
A new left-turn lane and wider shoulders at this intersection will significantly decrease rear-end collisions and improve safety for all motorists using the roadway.
Car GlyphRelieves Congestion
By adding a turn lane and widening the roads, there is less congestion and fewer backups for drivers exiting and entering SR 9 from this intersection. The signal also helps traffic flow by giving vehicles a designated light to proceed in each direction – left, right or straight. This means less wait time for drivers.
