November 2007
Drivers on State Route 9 from Woodinville to Maltby began enjoying a new four-lane divided highway nearly six months ahead of schedule.

On Nov. 4, 2007, crews put the final touches on the raised median and removed many of the barrels on SR 9 that were familiar to drivers for nearly two years. The new lanes and safety improvements transformed SR 9 from a two-lane road to a safer four-lane divided highway.

Crews move barrels to allow drivers onto the new pavement.
