SR 9 - SR 538 Intersection Improvements - Pictures

Crews set up erosion control and began moving utilities in the first week.
Crews quickly began work on the roundabout in early June.
 Crews have begun installing the outside curbing.
Within the second week, crews were pouring the outer curbing.
Crews lay down asphalt to align with the new curbing.
Once crews have completed curbing, asphalt can be applied to meet the new alignment.		 The completed look of the outside curbing with fresh asphalt.

Red concrete is poured into the truck aprons.

Crews cut the asphalt in preperation for installing center islands.
To install splitter islands, crews first cut and remove some of the asphalt.		 Concrete forms for the splitter islands
After cutting and removing the asphalt, crews make forms for pouring concrete.
The outer edge of the center island is poured.
The center island begins taking shape.
