SR 7/Lewis County Roadside Safety Improvements

Project Description
SR 7 from Morton to the Nisqually River Bridge is in need of guardrail, removal of fixed objects, and improvement of roadsides. By installing guardrail and removing fixed objects, the project will reduce the severity of roadside collisions on the highway.

Recent Progress
The project office is working with utilities to mitigate utility relocation impacts and working on the plans, specifications and estimate.

Design Construction Impacts
During construction there will be intermittent single lane closures with flaggers.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Documentation is in final stages. 

Impacts to Traffic
At this time, there are no traffic impacts.
