SR 6 - South Fork Chehalis River Bridge Replacement

Project Description
The existing bridge is rated as structurally deficient and in need of replacement. It is too narrow for passing trucks to travel on the bridge at the same time.

Contractor/Consultant
Scarsella Brothers Inc.

Recent Progress
The project construction is under way, A two year construction schedule is anticipated.

Design Construction Impacts
The new bridge will be constructed north of the existing bridge to reduce traffic impacts.  Staging plans will eliminate the need for signalized one-way traffic during construction.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Environmental permits are completed.

Impacts to Traffic
During construction, there will be single lane closures with flaggers.
