SR 6 - South Fork Chehalis River Bridge Replacement

Project Description
The existing bridge is rated as structurally deficient and in need of replacement. It is too narrow for passing trucks to travel on the bridge at the same time.

Recent Progress
The project is progressing towards 90% design completion.

Design Construction Impacts
The new bridge will be constructed north of the existing bridge to reduce traffic impacts.  This still will require the use of signalized one-way traffic control.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Currently updating permits.

Impacts to Traffic
During construction there will be single lane closures with flaggers and a temporary traffic signal.
