SR 531 - 43rd Ave. Vic. to Sr 9 Vic. - Paving - Complete October 2013

The pavement along this stretch of State Route 531 was worn down after years of heavy use. This project resurfaced the roadway to reduce annual maintenance and repair costs, and to keep the highway safe for drivers.

Project improvements included:

  • Contractor crews ground and resurfaced old pavement and repaired damaged areas of SR 531 from east of 43rd Avenue to just west of State Route 9.
  • High visibility lane striping.
  • Curb ramp areas at 67th Avenue rebuilt to current ADA standards.
