SR 529 (Marine View Dr) Paving - Everett Waterfront - Complete July 2011

Overview
About 11,600 drivers travel this section of SR 529 each day. We repaved one mile of roadway on SR 529 along Everett's waterfront between Naval Station Everett and 10th Street.

The repaved roadway will provide a smoother, safer surface for drivers and extend the life of the roadway. We also replaced traffic sensors in the pavement and upgraded guardrail, signing and striping.

In October 2010, we advertised the project to contractors, and on December 17, 2010, we awarded the project to Lakeside Industries, Inc. of Monroe. On May 9, 2011, we began construction and wrapped up the project in July 2011.
