Traffic backs up along SR 529 during bridge opening operations
Traffic backs up along SR 529 while bridge is open to allow boat traffic through.  The new "fixed" bridge will have a higher clearance to allow boats through without interrupting traffic.

SR 529 Bridge
When fully open, the existing bridge rests along a fixed structure constructed in the Ebey Slough.  This photo shows the "rests" at low tide.  We will remove the structure in order to improve boats' access to the marina in Marysville.
