New pavement on SR 526 near Mukilteo.Replacing signals and sign bridges requires extensive foundation work, both above and below ground.A new drainage system in the median of SR 526 will help to keep the highway clear and dry. In August 2008, crews repaved nearly three miles of SR 526 in Mukilteo.As part of many safety improvements to be completed on SR 526, we will replace medians such as this one with concrete barrier.
