SR 522 improvement projects will dramatically enhance safety and help decrease drive times on this highly congested roadway. When all planned projects on SR 522 are completed, drivers will have two lanes in each direction (including widened bridges), two new interchanges and numerous safety improvements. The environment will also benefit from new drainage facilities that will help improve water quality.
