WSDOT is working with the University of Washington and Cascadia Community College to build a new entrance to the south side of the Bothell campus. Our plans also include improvements to State Route 522 (Bothell Way NE) from the I-405 interchange to Kaysner Way in Bothell. This project will allow the college to grow from 3,000 full time students to 10,000 full time students. Another project benefit will include relieving congestion at the north entrance, taking more vehicles off city streets, access to the south campus from I-405 and SR 522 and improve transit reliability.
