Overview
WSDOT repaired and repaved SR 516 from SE 160th St. to the Covington city limits. We also replaced old highway signs, repaired traffic signal detection loops, restriped the roadway and upgraded sidewalks to meet ADA standards.
 | Improves Safety
New road signs are more visible for drivers. Upgraded ramps and sidewalks meet ADA standards.
|
 | Economic Incentive
This stretch of SR 516 was last paved in 1992. Since then, the pavement developed cracks and ruts. Reparing and repaving extends the life of the pavement, reducing the need for costly repairs.
