Project Description
Increase capacity and safety of SR 502 between NE 10th Ave and Battle Ground by increasing the number of travel lanes from two to four, installing median barrier, signalizing intersections, and establishing limited access control.

Recent Progress
WSDOT is currently working to select a consultant to do the environmental documentation for this project. Public involvement will also be a key portion of this project and WSDOT is currently working to develop stakeholder lists and questionaires. WSDOT is continuing to refine the preliminary engineering.

While it is too early in project development to determine the exact magnitude, the size and complexity of the project clearly indicates there will be property impacts.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
WSDOT has started the necessary environmental study for this project, but it is not yet complete. This study will detail the project's direct and indirect environmental impacts (natural, ecological, societal and economic) in order to guide final design and construction.
