Project Title & Location
SR 502 Widening from I-5 to Battle Ground - Clark County

Recent Progress

WSDOT is continuing to develop preliminary alignments for the proposed widening.  WSDOT biologists are currently delineating the wetland boundries to determine the amount of wetlands on the project.  This information will be used to evaluate various alignment options.

Design Construction Impacts
While it is too early in project development to determine the exact magnitude, the size and complexity of the project clearly indicates there will be impacts to the natural landscape and existing facilities.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
WSDOT started the necessary environmental study for this project but it is not yet complete. This study will detail the project's direct and indirect environmental impacts (natural, ecological, societal and economic) in order to guide final design and construction.
