Recent Progress

WSDOT is currently obtaining survey data and developing preliminary design options. These options will then be presented to the public to help determine a preferred build alternative.  WSDOT is also obtaining early environmental impact data to help determine the preferred build alternative.

Design Construction Impacts
While it is too early in project development to determine the exact magnitude, the size and complexity of the project clearly indicates there will be property impacts.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
WSDOT has started the necessary environmental study for this project, but it is not yet complete. This study will detail the project's direct and indirect environmental impacts (natural, ecological, societal and economic) in order to guide final design and construction.
