SR 501 - Gee Creek Br Vic to S 56th Pl - Paving - Completed March 2016

In summer 2015, contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation began work to repave and stripe 1.62 miles of roadway in Ridgefield on State Route 501 (Pioneer Street).

Over the years, normal wear and tear, increasing traffic volumes and weather contributed to the deterioration of the existing pavement, resulting in damage to the roadway.

This long term-term fix extended the useful life of the pavement, improved safety, and preserved this vital stretch of SR 501.
