SR 410 - Rattlesnake Creek - Stabilize Slopes

Project Description
This project will construct bank stabilization elements to address repeated slope failures threatening SR 410 where Rattlesnake Creek enters the Naches River, requiring frequent maintenance attention. These elements will control erosion damage and reduce maintenance costs in this area.

Project awarded to Granite Northwest, Inc. (dba Superior Paving) on January 22, 2008. The contractor is procuring riprap for the project.

Design Construction Impacts
Due to in water work window, work on the project will start no earlier than July 1, 2008.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Field inspectors and region environmental staff will closely monitor construction and conduct water quality monitoring as needed.

Impacts to Traffic
Alternating one-way traffic during construction. Traffic control will only be used during hours of work. Traffic control should not cause congestion on this route due to the relatively low traffic volumes.
