SR 290 - Mission Ave to Sullivan Rd - Paving

  • Awarded to CPM/Inland Asphalt Company of Spokane with a construction bid of $3,464,647.

SR 290, Trent Avenue will be resurfaced from the Mission Ave. "Y" to Sullivan road. In addition, the bridge deck on the Spokane River Bridges near Pines road will be repaired and the eastbound SR 290/UPRR bridge deck will be repaired.

Why is WSDOT resurfacing this highway?
High traffic volumes with normal wear and tear has deteriorated the pavement surface and three bridge decks.

The End Result
A smoother roadway and protection for the underlying highway structure.

Project Benefits
A better experience for drivers with a reduced need for repairs and patching.

What is the project timeline?
The project will be designed, advertised for bids and constructed during 2017.
