This Safety Improvement/Collision Reduction project will construct a passing lane on SR 26 just West of Othello.
Why is WSDOT
constructing a passing lane on SR 26?
There have been numerous passing related collisions along this stretch of SR 26. The addition of a passing lane will improve safety by providing motorists with a safer means of passing.
The End Result
This project will result in a safer and more efficient roadway. The addition of a passing lane will reduce the number of collisions and increase mobility on this section of SR 26.
