Project Description
The section of SR 240 from Beloit Road to Kingsgate Way has experienced a number of serious collisions. Widening the roadway to 12 ft lanes with 8 ft shoulders will improve the safety of the highway and provide more recovery area.

Recent Progress
Preliminary plans production continues.  The cultural resources consultation has begun with the tribes and the environmental documentation process has begun.  Design is continuing as scoped with modified cut and fill slopes within the culturally sensitve areas to minimize impacts.  Remote sensing was done in these areas to help minimize the impacts.  The hydraulic report has been prepared and submitted for approval.
