SR 240 - 14 Miles South of SR 24 to Snively Road - Added Lanes

Project Description
The section of SR 240 from Beloit Road to Kingsgate Way has experienced a number of serious collisions. Widening the roadway to 12 ft lanes with 8 ft shoulders will improve the safety of the highway and provide more recovery area.

Contractor/Consultant

Recent Progress
Preliminary Engineering has started.  A meeting was held on March 23, 2006 with various support offices and representatives from the Department of Energy and Hanford to discuss the project.
