Recent Progress
Accident History has been reviewed and an alternative design that changes the scope of the project has been developed that would improve safety for 18 miles by widening the narrow roadway to 12 ft lanes and 8 ft shoulders with rumble strips. This alternative will be presented to the Legislature during the next legislative session for approval. Two surveying crews continue to gather topographical information and are likely to continue collecting data into January. The project schedule still reflects the original scope of work.
