SR 24 - SR 241 to Cold Creek Road - Add Passing Lanes

Project Description
This project will construct a passing lane uphill in both directions on SR 24 between SR 241 and Cold Creek Road. Constructing a passing lane will improve safety, reduce collisions, and increase traffic mobility.

Recent Progress
Design work began on this project in May. Right of Way plans and Design Approval are complete.

Design Construction Impacts
The bid advertise date is expected to slip from October 2007 to December 2007.  This change will not influence the expected start of construction or the expected completion date of this project.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
No impacts are anticipated at this time.

Impacts to Traffic
One lane closures with flaggers are anticipated.  No detours will be required for this project.
