SR 202 and SR 203/NE 124th St Vic to Tolt River Bridge – Paving & ADA - Completed May 2017

Overview
We repaved 1.7 miles of SR 202 in Redmond and several intersections between Redmond and Fall City, 5.2 miles of SR 203 between Fall City and Carnation, the eastbound SR 202 on-ramp to westbound SR 520, and the eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to SR 202. Crews completed grinding, repaving and restriping to rejuvenate these sections. We also improved 17 sidewalk ramps for pedestrians near SR 520, making it easier and safer to cross streets.

How You Benefit
Cross GlyphImproves Safety
Repaving these sections of SR 202 and SR 203 improves the roadway by eliminating ruts where water can pool, which can cause vehicles to lose control.
Dollar Sign Glyph Economic Incentive
This project preserves the highways and extends their lifespan by protecting the layers beneath the driving surface. It also reduces annual maintenance costs and limits the opportunity for potholes to develop, reducing the need for costly emergency repairs.
