In summer 2013 the Washington State Department of Transportation will repair and repave 1.5 miles of eastbound State Route 18 in the vicinity of Issaquah-Hobart Road Southeast. The on- and off-ramps to SR 18 at the Issaquah-Hobart exit will also be repaved.
One eastbound lane of SR 18 will be open at all times. Drivers can also choose to avoid the highway and take I-90 to SB I-5. When crews close ramps, drivers will be detoured.
SR 18 eastbound off-ramp closure:
- Eastbound SR 18 drivers will exit to 244th Avenue Southeast, turn right onto 244th Ave. SE, turn left onto SE 216th Street, turn left onto 276th Ave. SE and then drivers will reach Issaquah-Hobart Road Southeast.
SR 18 eastbound on-ramp closure:
- Option 1: Drive south on 276th Ave. SE, turn right onto 216th St., turn right onto 244th Ave. SE, take the 244th Ave. SE on-ramp to eastbound SR 18.
- Option 2: Take the westbound SR 18 on-ramp for Issaquah-Hobart Road, exit at 244th Ave. SE, then take the 244th Ave. SE eastbound on-ramp to SR 18.
