July 05 - We shifted westbound traffic (on the right) to the new westbound roadway in late July. We shifted eastbound traffic (on the left) to the westbound roadway the following weekend. Moving all traffic to the new westbound roadway allows crews to start building the eastbound half of the new 244th Avenue SE interchange, new bridges over Taylor Creek and new eastbound lanes from SR 169 through 244th Avenue SE.

February 2005 - Traffic on the new westbound roadway travels on new bridges over SR 169 and the Cedar River. In late January crews shifted all traffic to the westbound roadway from the SE 231st Street exit to just west of 236th Avenue SE.

November 2004 - Two-way traffic travels on the completed eastbound roadway from just of 244th SE and Issaquah Hobart Road. Completing this traffic shift allows crews to work on the westbound roadway in this section of SR 18

October 2004 - Crews shifted eastbound traffic to the new eastbound roadway just east of 244th in early October. Westbound traffic remained on the existing roadway while crews completed the transition to the new roadway just west of Issaquah Hobart Road.
