
February 2006 - From the air you can see the eastbound highway (including the new bridge over the Cedar River) under construction next to the completed westbound highway. The white tarps prevent dirt from eroding into the river. Erosion is a threat to the fish in the river.

September 2005 -- Crews completed the paving the eastbound bridge over the Cedar River in late September.

June 2005 - The future eastbound bridge over the Cedar River grows next to its westbound sibling.

February 2005 -- Demolition of the old bridge over the Cedar River required building a platform to keep debris out of the river below.

October 2004 - Crews built a platform underneath the existing bridge over the Cedar River. The platform will keep debris out of the river when we demolish the bridge.
