
February 2006 -- This bridge is part of the eastbound on-ramp at the 244th interchange. It's one of the many bridged crossings of Taylor Creek on the SR 18 project. The machine is a Bidwell concrete finishing machine. It is ready to go for a deck pour. The cylindrical drums under it rotate to provide a smooth finish to the fresh concrete as the deck is being poured. The green material is epoxy coated rebar for the top mat of the bridge deck.

December 2005 - With all traffic now on the westbound roadway, crews are making progress on the eastbound bridge over 244th.

July 2005 - Westbound traffic travels on the new bridge over 244th Avenue SE. The bridge, which is part of the 244th Avenue SE interchange, opened to traffic in late July. The eastbound half of the interchange will open next summer.

July 2005 - The signal at the 244th interchange will operate until we complete construction of the eastbound lanes in 2006.
