Recent Progress

An Alternative Screening workshop was held in May 2005.  The purpose of the workshop was to screen the preferred alternative for widening  SR 18 and improving the I90 / SR 18 interchange.  A draft preferred alternative recommendation was prepared in June 2005.  The project management team is expected to finalize the recommendation in July 2005.  Once the preferred alternative is selected the second public open house will be held to present the selected design.

Prepared the draft scope of work for the supplemental consultant agreement.  The plan is to complete the agreement in August 2005 to provide more effective congestion relief and better meet the purpose and need of the project.  The new agreement will complete the SR 18 corridor analysis and detailed environmental evaluation of the I90 / SR 18 interchange.  It will also complete the I90 / SR 18 interchange design documentation and would further other related design elements to the extend possible.
