This 2005 TPA 9-1/2 cent gas tax project illuminates three intersections on SR 17 at Rd. 12 S.E., Rd. 11 S.E. and at Rd. 19 N.E.

Why is WSDOT Illuminating these Intersections?
12 S.E, 11 S.E, and 19 N.E all have accident histories including night time collisions.

12 S.E, and 11 S.E are south of Moses Lake. Both are busy with agricultural, commuter, and residential traffic.

19 N.E. south of Soap Lake, is also busy with commuter and residential traffic.

The End Result
The potential for night time collisions will be reduced with the addition of illumination at these three locations.

Project Benefits
Improved Intersection Safety and Mobility

What is the project timeline?
