During the long term repair work, crews will install additional soil nails under the southeast end of the bridge and cover it with special spray-on concrete. Then, long drainage pipes will be drilled into the land south of the bridge to drain excess groundwater from the area to further stabilize the slope, and prevent damage to SR 169 and the bridge.
