Repair work began Feb. 4 - Crews drilled 6-inch holes in the concrete slab so they could place concrete fill behind the damaged wall.
The flooded Cedar River caused the soil underneath the retaining wall to erode.
The sinking wall caused cracking along the shoulder of northbound SR 169.
