Local access to SR 169 could be limited during weeknight construction. Limiting side street access to and from SR 169 provides crews enough room for a work zone and prevents SR 169 drivers from shortcutting through local residential streets to avoid construction-related traffic back-ups. When local side street access is closed, a detour will be provided.
Crews will only set up detours at night, Sunday through Thursday. Drivers will not see detours during the weekend.

When crews close access to the west side of SE 253rd Place, drivers will be detoured to 228th Avenue SE to
access SR 169.
Detour: SE 253rd Place and SE 251st Street
When crews close access to the east side of SE 253rd Place and SE 251st Street, drivers will be detoured to SE 244th Street to access SR 169.
Detour: SE 244th Street
When crews close access to SE 244th Street, drivers will be detoured to SE 240th Boulevard to access SR 169.
Detour: 228th Ave SE and 231st Ave SE
When crews close access to 228th Avenue SE and
231st Ave SE, drivers will be detoured SE 253rd Place to access SR 169.
