Recently completed CEVP considering three scenarios: 1 lane in each direction with minimal interchange improvements, bottleneck projects and HOV lane completion. Given RTID budget of $500M we focused on bottleneck projects between S 180th in Renton to S 84th in Kent, SR 516 to S 277th and completion of the HOV system on SR 167 in King County.
Started developnment of Watershed Characterization to identify potential wetland mitigation sites.
WSDOT staff identified potential increase of wetland buffer regulations proposed by DOE, the Army Corp of Engineers and growth management regulations. WSDOT staff has been working with local jurisdictions to update waterland information. We uncovered that King County wetland data is nearly 20 years old.
