The SR 167 project team engaged members of the public to assure that their feedback guided corridor plan development, including:
- Corridor Working Group meetings: Staff members from local public agencies and jurisdictions met to identify project issues and provide local knowledge and expertise.
- Open houses: Four open houses were held for the public to view project information and speak to the project team.
- Informal outreach: Project team members went to community events and reached approximately 700 people.
- Project Web site: This site was a consistent source for information and comments throughout the planning process.
