SR 167 Extension project continues to purchase property
WSDOT has purchased more than 80 properties for the SR 167 Extension project. These properties represent more than 40 percent of the corridor needed for the highway. Since the last e-mail update in March, the project purchased five new properties.
Look for us in your community this summer
Last summer we met with more than 1,400 individuals at local community events like the Puyallup Farmers’ Market and Fife’s Harvest Festival and we plan to continue that effort this summer. Please check our calendar of events in the coming months for dates and times of events in your community.
WSDOT releases the new 2008 state map
The 2008-09 Washington State Highway Map is now available, just in time for summer. This year, WSDOT printed 800,000 maps and as always we are giving them away for free. You can order one right away by visiting the WSDOT map Web site or by calling the map line at 360-705-7279. We will also have maps available at our events later this summer.
