Design Construction Impacts
Design work is focused on identifying and cataloging issues and risks for further evaluation in the design process.

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
The Tier II Final Environmental Impact Statement, expected to be issued in fall 2006, will include plans to minimize or mitigate environmental impacts within the corridor’s footprint. Preliminary project engineering includes significant innovative environmental designs to manage stormwater, help protect area waters from pollution and improve stream habitat. The biological assessment was initiated for consultation by FHWA on Sept. 30, 2005.
