SR 167 - NB S 277th St to Green River Bridge - Paving - Complete June 2015

Overview

In summer 2015, crews repaved and resurfaced just over a mile of northbound State Route 167 from South 277th Street to Green River Bridge in Kent.

How you benefit

Improves safety
Resurfacing and repaving extends the life of the roadway and provides drivers with a safer, smoother ride.

Economic incentive
Repaving reduces the need for emergency repairs, which are costly to taxpayers and can cause additional congestion if they're needed during rush hour.

Partnerships & cooperation
This project coordinated with other projects in the area to minimize impacts to drivers.

Funding

  • Funded with Pre-Existing Funds (PEF): $742,000
