Design Construction Impacts
This project is currently on the shelf pending the anticipated 2009 advertisement date. Right of way is proceeding due to the large number of parcels affected by this project. Coordination is continuing with the utility companies, especially Puget Sound Energy, on relocation of the utilities affected by the project.

|
Environmental Impacts / Compliance
As designed, this project has minimal impacts environmentally. The impacts will have to be reassessed and permits, if needed, attained prior to advertisement to comply with any changes in the laws or regulations at that time.
|
Impacts to Traffic
When construction begins it is anticipated that there will be some lane restrictions during the widening and slope flattening stages. It is anticipated that there will also be one-lane alternating traffic intermittently through this phase. There will be one-lane alternating traffic during the paving of the project lasting approximately two weeks.
