SR 14/Lieser Rd Interchange - Add Ramp Signal

Project Description
The westbound off-ramp from SR 14 to Lieser Road experiences back-ups due to high traffic volume. By constructing a traffic signal at the intersection of the off-ramp with Lieser Road, the project will reduce congestion to improve traffic flow and reduce potential collisions.

Recent Progress
The project summary was completed in December 2006.  The project has completed the 30% design, including the geometrics of the proposed improvements.  Traffic Design is beginning design of the new signal and illumination systems.

WSDOT has completed the Biological Assessment.

Impacts to Traffic
The design team is currently working through ideas and issues and will work toward minimizing impacts to traffic as much as possible.
