Project Title & Location
SR 14/Camas Washougal - Add Lanes and Build Interchange

Project Description
Widen SR 14 to four lanes from the east end of the West Camas Slough Bridge to Union St, and construct a new split diamond interchange at Union St and 2nd St. This project will improve safety and capacity by eliminating conflicting movements and queuing at intersections, and separating traffic with median barrier.

Contractor/Consultant
Skillings-Connolly Inc.

Recent Progress
The intersection of SR14 and SR500 (Union Street) has been identified as the preferred location for the project's interchange.  Currently, the design team is working to advance the project's design, completing environmental documentation and preparing for an upcoming Access Hearing.

Design Construction Impacts
Frontage roads on both sides of SR 14 are being developed to provide local traffic circulation. 

Environmental Impacts / Compliance
Major work activities associated with environmental documentation are anticipated to be complete by late 2007.   

Impacts to Traffic
The design team is currently assessing these impacts. The team will minimize impacts as much as possible.
